Thanos was born in Thessaloniki, Greece and lives in Athens. He took strings lessons and he started forming bands at the age of twelve, playing the guitar and singing. He lived in the U.K. (London and Manchester) for eight years where amongst other things he took his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Mechanical Engineering, worked in pubs, clubs, restaurants and other top jobs and played in college bands. He never really had the time or the chance to enter discography only until recently when talking to a close friend, who is in the music business, he remembered what three angels had told him once: "If you don't do something about your vision, this will always be and stay a dream". His work - own music and lyrics - is called "Endless Roads", (Dromoi horis telos), and is a mixture of rock n roll and ballads with orchestral influences. This CD is manufactured by Sony DADC in Austria and comes with a sixteen page lyrics, photos and acknowledgements colored booklet. Rock, Pop, ballads, with orchestral influences. If you speak Greek you will love the lyrics. If not, you will experience and find the music sometimes upbeat, sometimes romantic, but never dull. An excellent indie buy.

* DIONYSIOS LAZANIS << TA PANDA >> *

Dionysios Lazanis also known as Dionysos, Zakynthios, or Dion de lazante, was born in Montreal Quebec, Canada. At the age of six he went to music school in Montreal, where he studied the accordion and the piano. At the age of nine, he moved to Greece with his parents. The following year, he won first prize in singing, which took place in his hometown of Zakynthos Island. He kept winning the first prize for the next 4 years in a row. He performed in Clubs all over Greece including Club Agapame (Owned by Dimitrios Lagios, writer and composer of Giorgos Dalaras, Katsimiha brothers and others). Dionysios composes, produces and performs songs in Greek, Italian, and English. Upon returning to Canada, he continued to study music in Jazz, classical technique, voice and composition. Over the years, the critics have noted his skills of improvisation showing an original combination and application of Jazz, classical and Greek music. He plays the piano, guitar, bass, bouzouki, mandolin and percussion. Dionysios composed and released his first single 12" record, " Come and Dance" on the Roumelle Records label, He created the first Bouzouki nights in Montreal and USA, performing in Clubs, like Elysium (Louzitania), Adinamia, Athens by night, Lido Cafe, Sizmos (today's club Opa). He made many concert appearances in the North American Greek community, performing in Toronto, Ottawa, Halifax, New Jersey, Chicago, Manhattan, Long Island New York, Miami Florida, California, Sydney Australia and Greece. He was honored and was given a prize in singing, producing, and composing for one of his original songs, written in Greek entitled " Ellada", (Greece). Released as a single, "Ellada", enjoyed trmendous airplay on Greek radio stations world wide! He released his album S' agapo (I love you), on own label "Ionian Music". A video clip was released for one of the songs in the album " Apo tote pou se gnorisa" (Ever since I've met you). Both video and album received extenisive airplay on Greek radio and T.V. stations. The album was available at leading specialty music stores in North America. In 1997," BOUZOUKI DANCE MIX" was released with "Ionian Music" label. BOUZOUKI DANCE MIX received airplay on Greek radio stations worldwide .In 2006 "Hip Hop Quebecois " compilation was released,with Sizzle records,in which he participated with his song"Feel me",which is No1 ,ripping the charts of the radio stations worldwide .
