About Our Radio

Yanni Hatzialexiou was born in Athens Greece. From his teenage years he started getting involved with radio, operating an underground radio station in the early years when Greece had only state-operated radio stations.

At some point he moved to the US, but his strong interest in music and radio continued. His dreams led him to start and operate "DJyanniradio.com," and soon after "Ellinikosfm.com."
Both internet-based US radio stations were started in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with Greek music and audiences from all over the world, as it can be heard globally.
Several years ago Yanni relocated to Washington State where he continues to broadcast Greek music to the world from those sites.

These are the only Greek radio stations on the worldwide web in which the audience can request a live song from the playlist and also have it dedicated to someone personally.
Yanni offers a variety of all music genres and trends, with old and new songs, as indeed the logo of the stations indicate.
